With all the runny noses, ear infections and hives that have been going on around here the past few weeks, I have hardly had time to get into the kitchen, nevermind photograph what I'm making and edit said photos. So in lieu of a new recipe this week, I'm sharing some of my favorite fall recipes (surprisingly, none have pumpkin!). Hopefully everyone around here gets a little healthier soon, and I can get back into my kitchen!
I make this several times every fall, usually with pears instead of apples because of our backyard pear tree.
Savory Sausage and Cheese Waffles
A delicious breakfast, and so much more! I often keep a bag of these in the freezer - they make a great after school snack.
Fall is often a time when parents are busy and lacking time to cook. Enter a quick and easy meal like this one that takes minimal prep and pantry friendly ingredients.
Black Bean and Vegetable Quesadillas
Another quick and easy meal to make before weeknight lessons that my kids love.
Roasted Beet Salad with Candied Walnuts and Goat Cheese
One of my favorite salads of all times!
Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Barbecue Spices
Fall is a time that I find myself using less of the grill, and more of the oven. Therefore, it is a time that I find myself roasting piles of veggies!
Perfectly Simple Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Of course, fall is a great time to celebrate warm, spicy desserts. This old family favorite is the one I often make.
