No Syrup Piña Colada

A pina colada is the ultimate vacation drink. Now you can easily make one at home with no sugar filled syrups.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup canned coconut milk
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 2 Tablespoons simple syrup or 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar - see note
  • 1 ounce white rum
  • 1 ounce coconut rum
  • Handful of ice cubes
  • slices Pineapple or maraschino cherries to garnish

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into two glasses and serve with a slice of lime or maraschino cherry as desired.

Notes

If using granulated sugar instead of simple syrup, you may have to increase blending time to get the sugar to dissolve completely
