Easiest Ever Ice Cream Sandwich Cake

This ice cream sandwich cake is about the easiest summer dessert ever. All it takes is as little as two ingredients, and a few minutes to put it together!

Ingredients

  • 24 ice cream sandwiches
  • 1 pint softened ice cream (vanilla, or the flavor of your choosing)
  • sprinkles, hot fudge, chocolate shell, caramel or chocolate sauce, chopped nuts, candy, etc. optional add ins

Instructions

  • Lay ice cream sandwiches in a single layer in a 9x13" baking dish or similar sized casserole dish, cutting sandwiches as needed to make them fit. Spread half of the ice cream and any optional add-ins you may want to use on top.
  • Add another single layer of ice cream sandwiches (depending on the size/shape of your dish, you may not use up all of the ice cream sandwiches). Repeat with another layer of ice cream and add-ins, noting that this will be the top and you can decorate it as desired.
  • Place in the freezer, and freeze until the ice cream has firmed up, at least 2 hours. Cut into pieces and serve frozen.
