This ice cream sandwich cake is about the easiest summer dessert ever. All it takes is as little as two ingredients, and a few minutes to put it together!

1pintsoftened ice cream(vanilla, or the flavor of your choosing)
sprinkles, hot fudge, chocolate shell, caramel or chocolate sauce, chopped nuts, candy, etc.optional add ins
Instructions
Lay ice cream sandwiches in a single layer in a 9x13" baking dish or similar sized casserole dish, cutting sandwiches as needed to make them fit. Spread half of the ice cream and any optional add-ins you may want to use on top.
Add another single layer of ice cream sandwiches (depending on the size/shape of your dish, you may not use up all of the ice cream sandwiches). Repeat with another layer of ice cream and add-ins, noting that this will be the top and you can decorate it as desired.
Place in the freezer, and freeze until the ice cream has firmed up, at least 2 hours. Cut into pieces and serve frozen.
