Add 450 grams store-bought chocolate frosting, 60 grams softened unsalted butter, and 10 grams cocoa powder to the bowl of your stand mixer (or a large bowl). Mix on high speed until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Add 150 grams marshmallow creme to the bowl with the frosting. Mix again at high speed until the mixture is smooth, glossy, and fluffy. Note that if you're using a hand mixer, the frosting will become somewhat stiff and sticky, so make sure you have a firm grip on the bowl and the mixer.

Use the frosting to top one 9x13" cake or two 8x8" cakes. You can pipe the frosting on with a star tip so that it closely resembles a Deep 'n Delicious Cake, or spread it on with an offset spatula (or regular spatula). Once the frosting is spread all over the cake, you can use a spatula to pat the frosting and pull straight up to create little spiky peaks all over the frosting for a more low-effort decorating technique. Top with chocolate sprinkles if desired.

I used Betty Crocker Creamy Deluxe. For best results, use a creamy, not a whipped-style, buttercream frosting.

Note: Do not use this frosting to fill a cake as it is too slippery and the top cake layer will slide off the bottom layer.
