Top 10 Recipes of 2025

It’s that time of the year again – when I review my Google Analytics from the past year to find out which were the most popular recipes of the year.

This year we’ve had some long-standing favorites and some new entries. Without further ado, here’s the list.

10 – Small Batch Edible Cookie Dough

This safe-to-eat cookie dough was the tenth most popular recipe of the year. Made with ground oats and no eggs, you won’t get food poisoning from eating this easy-to-mix-up sweet treat.

9 – Sesame Steak Sauce (Sawmill Copycat)

You all must be eating a lot of steak, because this Sesame Steak Sauce was my 9th most popular recipe. This sauce is easy to mix up and is more flavorful than a lot of store-bought sesame steak sauces. It’s great with steak, but also goes well with other meats and roasted vegetables.

8 – Japanese Pickled Daikon

Japanese food must be really hot right now, because this is the first of 2 Japanese recipes on the list. This Pickled Daikon can be a little smelly, but makes a great addition to family sushi night.

7 – Lazy Cabbage Rolls

This easy no-roll recipe is based on Ukrainian Sour Cabbage Rolls. It’s as easy as making fried rice, and it makes a great addition to other Ukrainian recipes.

6 – Salmon Noodle Casserole

This recipe is a long-time favorite around here. It was a meal I ate regularly as a child, and you all must like the nostalgia factor around it, too. It’s a super easy, weeknight-friendly recipe.

5 – Homemade Eatmore Bars

These Eatmore Bars have been popular for a long time, especially around the holidays! These chewy but crunchy, chocolatey bars are a delightful DIY version of the Canadian classic, Eat-More.

4 – Roasted Pork Tenderloin with Sauerkraut

This German-inspired pork and sauerkraut meal is a new entry in my most popular recipes. It spikes in popularity every weekend, and gave my website one of it’s highest-ever traffic days on New Year’s Day.

2 – How to Make Spreadable Butter

Another perennial favorite around here – this recipe remains very popular, and it’s also one of the recipes I make for my family on a regular basis. I always have a batch on the go in the fridge. With only 2 (or 3) simple ingredients, take your butter from rock-hard to spreadable straight out of the fridge in only a few minutes.

1. Quick & Easy Korean Beef and Mushroom Bowl

My readers love this recipe! It’s always in the top 5 most viewed recipes, no matter what time of week or year. This recipe is easy enough for any busy weeknight, but also super tasty.
